I think that logan will go to jail. According to the book, he was the one that put the noose in Imani’s locker and a couple days later when the police found out he was taken away he hung his head. Also the police seemed extremely stern at Logan when they took him.Because he put the noose in her locker, he was taken out of the classroom an possibly to jail.

I think that Izzy likes her mom and her dad equally and does not want to be with just one. According to the text, she bought a cool shirt for her mom. Also, her dad’s “friend” Anastasia plays piano just like her.

I gave this book five stars/trophies because I liked how it kind of went back in forth like a cross burned then they went to school and practiced a pageant and house burned down then voting happened and a pageant happened but it didn’t go as planned.

Favorite character 😆

My favorite character is definitely going to be stella, and not because she is the main character but because she is kind and has an outstanding and amazing personality.

Favorite moment 🤩

My favorite moment was when Stella was at the pond and saved Paulette’s life, a wight kid’s life. I found it interesting that Paulette acted the way she was during this scene like how she basically explained her whole family’s secrets to a African american.

I think that Stella is brave. According to the book, Stella went closer to the flames of the burned and scorched house to find Hazel. Also, she went and got help when her friend was in trouble instead of staying there and trying to fight off two full grown men all by herself. I think that doing this shows bravery.

I think that doctor packard is in the ku klux klan. According to the text, Stella saw a horse that kind of shimmered in the moonlight. Also, Stella’s family specifically says that he dresses his horses really well. Perhaps well enough to shimer in the night sky?
